Battlefront 2 re opens EA App

I was playing fine until i had an issue with my in game overlay and turned that off. after that every time I try to launch the game it closes EA and Task manager, then immediately reopens EA. Battlefront refuses to launch even for a second. I swear I've tried everything I've seen online.
