Battlefront 2 split screen for pc

As a footnote Direct X was originally concived by Microsoft as an abstraction layer between different hardware running windows and games software to irradicate any such technical issues, and regardless of that the coop feature has no hardware dependancies any way. So there is no reason for it not to be there except they have decided to turn it off. PLEASE TURN IT ON. I doubt they would even need to recompile the code as its may just be a flag in a config file that need changing from 0 to 1. Why dont they tell us where that is and we can do it our selves.

I wish they would support online co-op too. Very annoying I can't play with friends this way when split screen is not a option.  

Split-screen should be available for the PC version. There's no reason why they couldn't implement it, BUT the bigger issue is that there's apparently no online co-op support for any version of the game - which puts the PC version in a worse position than the console versions because it means there's absolutely no co-op available for the PC version, and Duels mode is also absent.

PC players essentially will have to pay the same price as the console versions for a version that features less content and features. This is criminal. What adds insult to injury is the fact the PC platform potentially offers far superior hardware than the console versions.

This is unacceptable. Online co-op support is needed for all versions (even the last Battlefront featured it and it was fantastic; I personally hate sharing a screen), and the PC version should have split-screen support as well as Duels mode.

Why did you remove the best part of this game!!!!!!! Put it back. Put split screen back right freaking now.

I agree that the PC version should have local co-op. Furthermore, I think it should support multi-monitor in addition to splitscreen.

Nowadays many players have controllers lying around, so if one player uses a keyboard, you only need one controller.

Can EA please give us a response on this.

If you don't answer this question then could you please anser why it is that on any thread where someone asks for an answer about something from EA they get no reply? We know you are watching @EA_David

Consoles are dying , year after year they get lesser exclusive games and pc components starts to grow way faster than they used to in result they cant even compare each other anymore and  they are trying to keep some of their "exclusive" features but in the end they are going to fail!

Just remember back then when Playstation and Playstation 2 were released , they were unique of their kind they had tons of exclusive games but now they were even forced to upgrade their consoles with the "pro" version in the middle of their ps4 launch....

They had their days , rip now.

For 34 quid I'm having an absolute blast with it! It's not pay to win though, you can still do well with the stock gear
