Battlefront 2 split screen HUD issue

I am playing Battlefront 2 on a PS5. One of the main reasons that I got the game was for split-screen starfighter play, but the bottom player has no aiming reticle for targeting enemies. This makes it nearly impossible to play as the bottom-screen player. It happens every time I play. Please provide a fix or patch.
