Hello @Roadr4sh , @FerrousCreek .
Sorry for your troubles. You are in the right place for help. !!::🙌
I too had some crashing, mine was CTD, "crash to desktop" . Here is how I solved it. The game runs on all sorts of systems Win Mac, others, however to get you real time, shoot, kill and feedback response the game is really dependant on a clean connection and a good rendering graphics card.
If your inet is jittery, your game will have issues. If someone is streaming video, you will have issues. If appliances are connected and several check in on your router at the same time, you will have issues. 1st thought, reset all - computer, router and modem. ( let them boot up in order, Modem, then router then computer). 2nd. Check your drivers are current and your connection is clean, ( check your speed, etc) 3 Clean the registry, 4. Check with your device maker for other updates. 5. You might try reinstalling the driver for the grahics card. 6. Worst case, uninstall game, reboot, install game ( 1 hr. ) REBOOT.
1. Write down the time of the crash.. 2. Track when it happens. 3. Find your Event Viewer. - Applications, review the list of info and warnings at the exact time. 4. Look for what is happening when the crash happens.
I found that a wireless card, on a new computer "Killer" was checking in and out. I asume trying to look for updates or perhaps spying, who knows. Mind you the wifi was already turned off, but it was still pushing in the background. Since I have an ethernet connection, I didn't need it and disabled it in device manager and networking. Now all is well.
You can find the reason if you look. Some will not make sense, look for issues at the time of the crash. Use the search engine to find out what program belongs to what company and then look for that. Try disable. Play and see if that helps. Always reboot after changes and write down what you change. You can do do this...
