Battlefront II glitch nothing works

I reported a bug yesterday to the forum where my sound stopped working on my Xbox One in Battlefront II, and only in Battlefront II, and that I haven't been able to get into any games in Battlefront II for over a day.

Basically, I would sit there in the loading screen forever with no sound.

Today I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and now nothing works except basically the environments. Sound is not working (it works when I hit my Xbox home button, works on Netflix, and works with every other app).

I noticed similar reports from PC users but none of their solutions are applicable because it is not like I can just go in and edit the files on my Xbox One deleting the errant line of code.

Not even players show up now. Only their class silhouette appears over where they should be. Essentially, nothing works right even when it does load in arcade, and I cannot get into games.

    I had to wipe my Xbox One completely, reinitialise, and reinstall. Now it is working finally.

    It was the weirdest glitch. It did not effect Netflix or Amazon Video, but made playing Star Wars Battlefront II impossible.

    Update:

    Actually I tried playing the Halo Masterchief collection, and the game is extremely laggy with no sound too. I think it might be a software update problem or else a problem with my Xbox One.

    I am not sure what to do at this point. I've uninstalled Battlefront II, and I've tried playing Halo Masterchief without my external harddrive on the off-chance it was that. I am considering buying a new console, but I am worried it is just a Microsoft issue they could fix with a quick update.

    My console is out of warranty, and it costs 220 AUD in mailing and repair fees for Microsoft to even look at it in Australia, so it is hardly even worth repairing.

    @ghoti657- Hello

    Microsoft has recently released a couple of small updates for the Xbox. When did your problem start? I am also an Xbox user and have had some little glitches after an update but they never seem to reoccur after doing a hard reboot (Switching off and removing the plug from the wall socket). Also check and test your network connection - Settings - network - network settings - troubleshooting. Try the 1st 3 tests. Are you using wireless or Lan Cable to connect your XB? Let me know the result via this thread. We may have to go one step at a time. I almost forgot to ask. do you have problems with any games other than what you mentioned?
