Battlefront II minimizes itself on start

Hello,

Whenever I try to launch Battlefront II - Celebration Edition from Epic Games Store, the game minimizes instantly and when I try to click on the icon in the taskbar, it shows a black screen and minimizes again. 

The game worked absolutely fine before, but now, I can't even play it.

How do I fix it?

EDIT: I also should notice that the game does sometimes work perfectly fine, but rarely. 

EDIT 2: Please help. I really like the game and want to play it but I can't. I tried reinstalling the game and it still didn't help!! Please help!!

EDIT 3: Finally solved. If you have a similar issue try to move the taskbar to bottom.

    @so_many_corpses

    first, try to repair the Game. Open Origin, click on game, click on setting (little weel) choose repair!

    Then run the game as Administrator.

    If this not help then try running the game on the "recommended settings". Right click on Battlefront.exe, go to Properties then click on the Compatibility tab. After that, click on the button that says "Compatibility Troubleshooter" and let it do its thing. After it's done try running the game with the new settings that it gave you.

    try to do a clean boot.

    also clear cache can help sometimes.

    If not maybe your Defender is supressing the start.
    Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & thread protection.
    Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.
    Select Add an exclusion, and then select from files, folders, file types, or process. The exclusion will apply to subfolders within a folder as well. (add excluson for battlefront2.exe in game folder)

    @RotblutThe video is useless since as I stated, I was able to launch and play the game completely fine previously. Clearing cache is irrelevant to my issue, I already added it to exclusions, and clean boot won't help. 

    EDIT: also pretty sure that a windows update caused dat or smth

    There are some "daft" solutions floating around, some work some don't ...here is another one 😃

    If you can get to settings ...and possibly you can't ...then adjust your resolution ..close the game .. restart the game and if all OK adjust you resolution back to the original desired settings.

    I experienced the game loading and then minimising to the Windows tool bar. I would click on the icon ..it very briefly expanded and then minimised again. However when I persisted eventually it would expand  but only to be minimised the next time I ran the game.

    DX12 isn't always a good player ... in the end I switched it off ..stopped (for me) a lot of issues.

    @so_many_corpses i suggest you to try this DX12 thing he showed in his video. I mean the end, just turn it off for once. You don't need to install the driver if you don't want, but set the DX to 0 (zero)
    It helped me with games like Civilisation and if it helps not it is easily turned on again.
