Battlefront II on Origin - ongoing constant crashes

Sigh! Been playing the game since launch and originally in Campaign mode, no problem. Then  after the first update every thing goes wrong.  Starts OK, then mid game in any mode it will hang  then crash  or just crash. Happens every night at varying intervals. Sometimes you get in 30 mins sometimes only 2 mins. Never the same, but always multpile crashes per evening.

I have a brand new PC -  i7 7700K Caby Lake processor on an MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard. 32 Gig of DDR4 3200mhz Ram, MSI GTX1080ti Gaming X 11gb GPU, playing at 4K. Windows 10 64bit

What more do I need!!!???

I have tried every combination of settings and display settings from 1080p up and nothing makes a blind bit of difference.

I have also tried every 'Fix' which has been listed here and elsewhere on the net but to no avail.

What is going on?

I have no issues with any other games or software on my system and all drivers etc are fully up to date.

With over 30 years IT experience under my belt I am for the first time completely stumped!

Am I the only one?

Well, after much toing and froing with EAHelp, this is the best they could offer me.....

From what I'm seeing, the only thing I can determine is based off the error I gave you and the RADAR error is a serious error. If you have any questions about this, I advise you to contact Microsoft:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/

Program is still completely unstable, crashes ever time after varying lengths of play, totally frustrating.

All my hardware passes every test 100% and is all less than 6 months old.

Posted question on Microsoft community but not holding out any hope.

    Miserable

    Great News!!

Problem solved and apologies to EA for suspecting the game programming!

This was not, I repeat, this was not a coding issue but an app conflict on my system.

I ran the system after a clean boot.......

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

and having disabled all services and start ups began a process of elimination.

All services were ok and the game was playing flawlessly.

Re-enabling my start-up apps a few at a time still allowed the game to play OK.

Until I got to 'Overwolf' as soon as re-enabled this Battlefront II started crashing again.

Not only did I disable it again but  un-installed it and now I am back on track and a happy camper!

Try following the above link to checkout all your services and start-up apps.......you may be surprised!

I'm in the same boat, the game is unplayable for me. I played for no problems before the last jedi update and now that I am finally home and want to play the new dlc I can't get the game to work. Half the time it crashes during the startup screen, the other half of the time it will crash within a few minutes of loading into the game. My computer is only a couple months old and is easily over the recommended specs. All of my drivers are updated to their most recent versions.

Exactly, for me there was a big update that it stopped working after. My computer is about 2 years old but well above the reccomended specs so that isn’t the issue

I personally HAVE to use it or my game only gets 2 - 5 fps

Do you mean you have FPS drops with Overwolf? Or not?

Game is broke as woke as joke as poke. Clone Wars DLC pretty much tossed it into the execution chamber for me. Good work, Extreme A-holes.
