Black screen on startup

Guys and girls,

So I saw there was an update on SWBF2. After updating the game I launched it, and gained a black and white screen, cut in the middle, followed by an endless black screen.

Straight to the point, I can't start my game anymore. I don't even get the loading screen anymore, everything just stays black.

Anyone having this same issue? I tried repairing it but it didn't help, even turning of the origin in-game overlay didn't change anything.

If you delete the .exe file, and then repair from Origin, it will only download the .exe file it is missing. You dont need redownload the whole game.

everytime i start battlefront it usually goes to black screen...workaround is i eject the disk, put it back in and either first time or second time the game will start
i ocassionaly get the half black and white screen too but dont recall when it happens

Yep, I'm getting a black screen when trying to start the game, I can hear the sound that it's loaded to the menu screen, but it's still totally black.

yeah dont do this you'll have to redownload the game.

If you have any issues with SWBF2 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
