I just wanted to report in that this bug is still in the game. It doesn't occur a lot, but when it does, it makes Boba Fett really hard to play.
I've done a search on how many reports I could find about the bug, and there were two others in languages that I could read:

The bug has been mentioned a few times by YouTubers, but has never gotten real attention (including on reddit and on EA Answers).
Basically, the bug has been quite unnoticed and therefore this update that the bug is life and well... still in the game. I've recorded footage of me trying to fly with Boba in HvV, but was unable to do so (while having enough fuel). After respawning, it worked properly again. It is quite hard to test the bug since it doesn't seem to happen often.
Hopefully, some of these hero bugs will get some attention and be solved in an upcoming update.

Apparently this player was not able to get his jetpack started again. I don't see any good reason why this happened here.
I've noticed that jetpacks are more glitchy when they are used just after you jump (Especially the jumptrooper of the clankers have often not-starting-jetpack on jumping). However I am not sure that this causes the Boba Fett jetpack bug.
I did not encounter this myself (yet), but here is another report of someone perfectly describing this bug on reddit.
"On PS4 , after getting knocked down in the air, I couldn’t use my jet pack for the rest of my time as him.."
It seems this hasn't been solved yet. As I never play with Boba, it happened to me only once or twice since releaseThe boba jetpack glitch has re-appeared , this time it occurred when hit by anikins force abilities. I will test it out and try get some footage but i was in a game yesterday and was hit with his force pull straight into his heroric might and that disabled bobas jetpack just giving the jump animation any time i pressed L2 . Back in the day some games you could just spawn in with this glitch that seems to be fixed but now force abilities seem to trigger this again and unlike the no block glitch theres no way to revert this without dying and respawning ☹️
