Boba Fett's Blaster Disabler - Friendly Fire?

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug When using the Blaster Disabler card for Boba Fett's Concussion Rocket ability, it seems that it disables friendly troops' weapons too.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug?
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)
In what game mode did the bug occur? Galactic Assault
What is your time zone?
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Equip Blaster Disabler card on Boba Fett, then use his Concussion Rocket ability near friendlies. Their weapons seem to overload aswell.
What happens when the bug occurs? Allied players are seemingly affected by your offensive ability. Also, many times it feels like you are way too far from the area of effect, yet your blaster overheats too.
What do you expect to see? Only the enemy players' weapons should overheat. (Or Boba's too, if in vicinity.)
Please select your region Europe
AMD or Nvidia Model Number

I don't actually know if it is just visual bug for the one playing Boba, but I highly doubt it. Also, the area of effect seems glitched, Boba gets affected by his ability from a greater distance.

  • Well it says it disables enemy weapons but it does disable your own gun and seem to affect allied troops as well.

I have not tested if it's just the graphical effect on allies or it disables their guns as well, in that situation this might be the greatest troll ability until they fix it and I'm saying...

    they better get fixin' it.

Yes, this is correct.  The card effects Boba himself, which is crazy.

You take a card on Boba Fett (1 of 3...so the choice is important) and it literally overheats your own weapon mid fight...

It essentially makes a card with some cool tactical uses, totally useless...as it is a self hindrance and there is always better choice as a result.

This must be a bug right ? the officer has a similar ability where he overheats all enemy nearby weapons. If it also did his own weapon, what would be the point ?

The effect is balanced by its extremely short duration, you need the card fully upgraded just to hit 1.50 seconds.

    Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

(im on PC by the way, so this is a platform wide/entire game glitch)

I'm not talking about it affecting his weapon, I'm fine with that, if it's a gameplay choice, but allied soldiers also seem to have their blasters overheated, which is ridiculous.
