I agree with both of you on this
1 month trooper only and the next limited Enforcers and vehicles
The experience would really bring the trooper aspect out
I counter this with:
Troopers, vehicles, ONE Special Unit per faction.
Republic - Clone Jet Trooper
Separatists - B2 Super Battle Droid
Rebels - Wookiee Warrior
Empire - Imperial Rocket Trooper
Resistance - Ovission Gunner
First Order - First Order Flame Trooper

I wouldn't mind this for coop too. Especially since the AI heroes target players
How about the opposite: Unlimited free heroes and reinforcements. I.E. you can have three Lukes attacking a command post with 10 Dookus defend, while three clone commandos go after a group of five Droidekas.
