Cannot Connect to EA Servers (Error Code 721) Star Wars Battlefront 2

I just downloaded this game on pc, but it won't let me play online, when I try to connect I get this message:

Failed to connect to the EA Servers. Online features will be unavailable.

Please check your internet connection and try again. See ea.com/unable-to-

connect for additional information.

Error code: 721

I visited the website but it wasn't that helpful. Do I need an EA membership to play online? I have some friends who also have this game and they aren't having any trouble. I know that I do have a good internet connection because this is the only thing on my pc that isn't connected, I have a wired connection directly to my router. I also looked online for that error code but nothing is helpful, is there a simple fix?

I validated the game files and ran it as an administrator, idk which one worked but I got it to connect!

I didn't make a shortcut, so how do I run as administrator?

Also, there should be another fix. We shouldn't have to run the game as admin every time.

I validated the game files and ran it as an administrator, idk which one worked but I got it to connect!

I have had this problem since yesterday when everything was working fine before. Clicking on the "connect" button displayed the error message, same thing with the game running as administrator. But by clicking on the button "you are offline" where the head of Darth Maul is, the game after a few seconds connected normally.

i have the same issue as the other guy and running as administrator didn't work for me
any other ideas?

@ThatSourMelon Yo I literally had the same issue. Right click on the game and Run as administrator. Worked for me.
