Can't access crates after 1.1 update

Ever since installing the 1.1 update I have no access to the screen to open crates. After being at the main menu for 30 seconds to a minute I get a message :

"We can't load the store offers. Please check your connection. Error code: 2,446"

I never had this issue in the three weeks I owned the game prior, I tried doing a repair install on my game but it made no difference.

Anyone experienced this and know of a fix?

I've had it since the beta, and just ran into this problem after the 1.1 patch. I'll follow this and the other thread that EADavid replied to yesterday.
