I reside in Canada and I can assure you that I've been having this issue too and it isn't only just on your end. I think there's something wrong with the EA servers that cause me to have to try finding a game over and over and over before I find one that even has people on it.
- Anonymous8 years agoSame here Canada Ontario (South Western) been involved from day one purchased the most expensive preorder package plus some (loot crates and such) as well as my time after this update i cant find or play any games and find the same consensus with other players/ not only have you removed a character i invested in (money wise; with no return date or compensation at all ie:in-game credits ) this game is now unplayable I've faithfully have spent hundreds of dollars on your game to be provided with pretty much a screen saver; not only is this highly innappropriate its quite frankly a slap in the face. I'm experiencing this issue on PS4 and I'd like a swift response regarding what you plan on doing to fix this and (not or) i repeat and compensate the players as a whole for this largescale inconvenience. Much appreciated and i thank you ahead of time for all of your hard work....may the force be with you...your gunna need it
- Anonymous8 years agoThis is definitely an issue in South Africa.. It causes me to change location to Germany.. Where I have to play with a ping of over 200.. This unacceptable and destroys the fun of the game... Please fix this.
- Anonymous8 years agoI have same problem . Xbox . South africa . Was able to get some results by joining germany server , but for the last two days i have not been able to find a single match . What a waste of money buying this . I feel i have been ripped off .

Same here in the U.S. The matchmaking system is bonkers since the update.
- 8 years agoSame here in the UK , hardly find any games anymore especially heroes vs villains. When you finally get a game , someone quits out to make it uneven teams and cos nobody's online, the server never adds a new player. What a let down of a game not even 6 months old. I'll give it another week and I'll do what most do and trade it in. Pointless having a game for online multiplayer and all you do is sit searching games...

I had this same problem, i went into the in game settings and changed the server i was conected to, the ohio server was giving me problems. So check the server ur using in the Star Wars Battle Front 2 game menu, then try to search for a matchmaking game again
- Anonymous8 years agoHi, you not going to like the solution. You need to create a new psn account on your ps4, and make the region USA. You will also need to create a new Gmail with American address and number.
Then your ps4 will use the servers in America. It also means you will have to pay for another ps plus subscription. Welcome to SA. - 8 years ago

I can’t play the game after paying a lot of money for it.

@EA_Ataashi- I am having problems in the last 2 days trying to connect to any of the multiplayer games. In all instances, I either end up in empty lobbies or get the message "unable to find you a game_____ error 1066". On Monday I started about 2pm and around 3.45pm was able to get into HvsV only to get the "Game ended No Data Available etc" at the game end. When I quit and relaunched to correct that error, was not able to get another game (any multiplayer) until after 10pm. Tuesday the same happened in the afternoon (I started a 1:30pm) and again after a couple of hours was able to get a game in HvsV with the same result as Monday. Same error msg at end of game. This time I did not quit, just played on until the particular daily challenge was completed (and a couple of milestones). The gameplay was good without lag. After leaving HvsV, I tried to get in GA with no success. Usually quit game around 4:30pm to organise dinner etc.& watch TV news. Start playing again around 8:30 - 9:00pm.Was not able to get a game in ANY multiplayer mode. gave up around 11:30pm. Is this issue anything to do with Ping site problems I have read about in this forum? My region Is Australia.

I am currently online (10:50pm) and have been since 2:00pm today and have yet to be able to join a multiplayer game (the same as my previous post). The problem appears to be getting worse. If I am not directed to an empty lobby, I am getting the dialogue "We can't find any available games for you, check your selection and try again. Error code 1066" and when I get into an empty lobby, I notice on the top right corner a message that I have a slow internet connection which may effect gameplay ad a graphic showing 3 bars Tested network for multiplayer and test was fine (Upload speed 5.9mb's/sec download 50.7mb's/sec Nat ok "Open" Ping site Australia 25ms.). I also have tried disconnecting/reconnecting to the EA servers whilst the game is running to no effect.This has been going on for 3 days and my frustration is turning to anger. I play this game at least 3hrs a day (A lot of times many more hrs) and have done so since it's release. It is the only online game I play. My gamer tag is PoppyGibb70 (yes, the 70 is my age), maybe you can check if there is a hiccup with that. I have overlooked a lot of bugs in this game which you have been fixing over time but this one is stretching my limits - Help!!!!
