Can't join friends' game

Same issue on Xbox. Very frustrating can’t play with friends without completely quitting a match

I came here to report that my attempted workaround for this failed miserably.  What I tried was joining the game my friends were in, either by repeatedly hitting the button until someone happened to leave or I saw in the Social Hub that a new match had started and thus there was likely to be space, and then when I got into the game I would pester my friends for an invitation.  The problem was, even if I was already in their game, I could not accept their invitation because "the game is full".

Editing to add:  this problem happens every single time any of my friends joins our group late.  We often express to each other how incredulous it is that we have to leave a perfectly good series of games just to go pick someone up from the menu when there used to be a mechanism that brought them in automatically.  Finding games is sometimes very difficult, and having to do it over and over because of this (or the fact that lobbies often end up empty) is really frustrating.

This is incorrect. I posted above how to have your friends join a game you're in. You don't have to leave the game. Whomever is not in the game and wants to join has to invite all those in a match to Thier group. Then when you matchmake they join your game 

Have we seriously still not received a response to this? After 3 months? This is a AAA title and this is a bug that severely impacts player's ability to play with each other in game, I would think EA or DICE would care to comment but I've yet to see a single official response anywhere. And we wonder why EA has the world record for the worst customer response just in case you were unaware.

Hey Xenaz! Long time no see. And I couldn't agree more with you on this! Having to endure this overwhelming amount of BUGs, many from day 1, many that linger in the game for more then a year, it's frustrating to say the least. And I can imagine how incredibly irritating this BUG in particular might be. I haven't been playing with friends lately, I've actually haven't been playing much at all, I'm mostly bughunting at this point, so this BUG hasn't happened to me yet.

But if it popped up a year ago I would be mad. Anyway, I hope they prioritize this eventually, but up to now it seems to be in the overwhelming pile of bugs they won't solve any time soon.

This is ridiculous. I try to play this game like once in a month with my son. There is just two of us, and every single time we spent 3x time on matchmaking than on actual game during like 1h window. This is beyond ridiculous...
