Can't play Battlefront II online

Playing EA games online on my PS4 worked fine earlier this year. Downloaded Star Wars Battlefront II and cant play it online because my EA account is invalid.

Spoke to an advisor and they AGREED my PSN ID is linked to an EA account that I no longer have access to.

Please note this: an EA advisor AGREED that the EA account linked to my PSN ID is an account I no longer have access to.

They said I had to verify my PSN account through them, they ask me questions and tell me that the PSN ID is correct. I answer questions with information that I literall have in front of me. They tell me it is wrong. How? I literally copy and pasted or typed out the information exactly as listed on my PSN account - the one that advisors already AGREED that is linked to an EA account I no longer have access to. There is literally no way the information I've given is incorrect. They said I had to try again. I tried again 3 more times, each time I was told the information was incorrect. Each time I triple checked the information I was giving them against my PSN account

How am I supposed to recover my account when I'm being told information that is correct, is wrong?

The only thing I can think of is thatr EA account is somehow linked to a different PSN ID but is showing that it is linked to mine, therefore showing the wrong information.

Unfortunately I can never play an EA game online again, because the company are calling me a liar (when I'm not) and theres nothing they can do to help me, meaning some random EA account i dont have access to is linked to my PSN-ID.

They also wont accept screen shots as proof that what I'm telling them is correct, and obviously for security reasons they cant show me the information at their end, so if our information is different for the same account (keep in mind it is MY account, not EAs) then what am I supposed to do?

  • @Tonez_UK ive just had this happen to me and they CONFIRMED that there was an email attatched to the account that ive never used in my life, but for the last 10 years, ive never had an issue with any of my games. Ive had Star Wars Battlefront 2 since launch, and ive never had an issue playing, but now all a sudden, im being called a liar by the service reps and now cant recover that information from an email that ive never had. this all started for me about 6 weeks ago. Have you had any luck recovering your games? because i have no idea what to do
  • @cofino44 This happened to me today! I have no idea what to do. I changed my password on my ea account, but can’t figure out how to even enter my ea info in on SW battlefront 2. I took about a 2 month break from this game and now that I’m back, I can’t log in to play online. So frustrating. I just want to play a game. Why tf are there hoops to jump through with ea all the time?!

I am not sure why this happened. I've been on the phone and online with EA Help reps, and they are not able to get my account back because someone hacked my account, and attached an email that was not one that I've ever used, and now i wont be able to play ANY EA titles unless i start a whole new profile. They have a list of things that they check off, and if even one of those things isn't right, they wont tell you what part is wrong, and they wont be able to transfer you to someone that can actually do something about it and help you. EA Help is some third party assistant, and i would love for one of them to see this, read it, and get me some better help,. I cant access an email that I've never established, nor can i get a recovery email because the only one they have on file is the hacked one. So i lost 2 years worth of content from one of my most anticipated games of my life, and i have loved every aspect of the game, even when they were figuring things out. If you get this, and find a solution that would work for me, I would love the help!
