Same here I bought it a couple months ago and played it a lot, then the epic thing happened and I said why not and then a added it to my account, now I cant open my game from where I bought it(steam) and Ill be stuck playing on epic games
When I wrote to Epic, they wrote back that they would work with EA to fix the problem.
In turn, EA wrote back to me that they are making progress with this bug, but are not able to give any ETA.
I just had a conversation with one of the EA tech guys and this was the conversation.
This is just to update everyone here that they are STILL working on this issue.

ME:like i said, this isnt a new issue for the past week. im pretty sure u guys have been getting issues about this daily
HIM:I just checked this issue with my higher team and I would like to inform you that several other players are facing the same issue worldwide and we are aware of it,This is server generated issue and Our higher Team and engineers are working on best of their capabilities to fix it as soon as possible so I humbly request you to wait for sometime and this will surely get fixed, We just need your co-operation here.

HIM:Yes, Our players unable to launch game through steam after launch from Epic.
It is conflicting both account game files.
