Can't sprint, stuck on crouch after typing on kb while using a controller

Summarize your bug While using and Xbox 360 Controller, switching to the keyboard to type in the in-game chat will cause the character to remain in the crouch position or make it impossible to sprint, only getting back to normal if I restart the game.

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? AGT (BET) - GMT - 3:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By using an xbox 360 controller, or maybe the xbox one controller, and switching back and forth with the keyboard and mouse, to type during gameplay or warm up of the match.
What happens when the bug occurs? Very frequently, when I use the keyboard to type in the in-game messenger, and return to the xbox 360 controller, the character won't sprint, or will get stuck on the crouch position. The in-game button indications switch back and forth the controller and keyboard and mouse ones when that happens. The only way to make it normal again is to restart the game.

    I remember having issues with both input methods attached and being switched a long time ago. Nowadays I only use controller for testing purposes on the splitscreen mod for PC, so I don't actually change from one another, player 1 is M&K and player 2 is Controller.

    But back when I used to play Starships, I used a controller. In GA I would switch from Controller to M&K and vice-versa whenever I changed from Ground to Starship, and then back to Ground. Sometimes my character would get stuck looking downwards, and my Mouse buttons assignment would change. If I got back to the controller it would also behave erratically. I used to fix this by just removing the controller and stop playing as a Starfighter (no wonder why I never played Starfighters anymore), but that fixed the issue for M&K, not for the controller.

    I hope devs decide to improve this situation, but as seeing it's a PC only issue, I don't think this will ever get prioritized.
