Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try changing the regions under EA account in-game.
What happens when the bug occurs? If you try to change regions it will still place you in a server nearest to your location.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to change regions

So before the Last Jedi patch, I was able to change regions successfully to be able to play on other regions as the player base is low in Australia in the morning. After the Last Jedi patch, I have changed the region but I still get placed into an Australian server.
