Commanding Officer Milestone glitch (Captain Phasma)

Summarize your bug I had 12/30 for Commanding Officer before Update 1.2. Since the update, none of the last strikes have counted toward the milestone. I did a test yesterday by playing HvV with a friend on the other side and nothing counted. I tried doing 4 strikes in a row; killing with the last strike; pushing the strike button while it was at 0 to ensure it would be the last strike when available and just doing the first 2 strikes in the air and landing with the last strike. HOWEVER, 10 strikes did count for my friend when we switched sides. So it appears this only affects certain account. She did not have any milestone strikes Prior to the update. I am currently still at 12/30.

What is your time zone? CST - GMT - 6:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a character that already had some of the Commanding Officer Milestone completed prior to Update 1.2 and then try to get the final strikes completed now. Then try a character that didn't have any strikes prior to the Update and see if there is a difference.
What happens when the bug occurs? No milestone points are registered
What do you expect to see? Milestone points after the round

Captain Phasma Commanding Officer Milestone Bug seems to only affect players that already had progression on the milestone prior to Update 1.2

    I’m playing on Xbox and have the exact same problem. Have gotten zero progression on this one since the update (sitting at 1/30). I found an AFK Luke today and must have landed 5-6 complete 1 2 3 combos on him. I was so excited but NONE of them ended up counting. This is really infuriating as I’m trying to 100% these milestones and hate playing as Phasma.

    The Captain Phasma bug is legit. I've killed at least 5 people with the final strike and it's still stuck on 5.

    Have you tried this during the Galactic Assault matches?

    I'm the friend in question and can verify validity of claim. We attempted for several rounds (we hung out on opposite sides for the majority of the day attempting to figure it out). I was able to progress, but Rattler was unable. Please help him figure it out. The milestone glitches are a real turnoff. I almost deleted the game over one I experienced.

    Thanks!  I tried playing some more and I still got nothing from what should have been around 3 or 4 final strikes.

    Yes, though it seems a lot harder as many troopers die before the last strike.  The refresh on the strikes are very fast, so the opponent needs to be tough or I have to strike in the air for the first two, which puts me in a vulnerable spot.

    I tried again today and the same thing. I hope they fix this soon.

    I thought it was just me not doing it right, but I was sure that I had done this at least a few times, and I'm still sitting at 0/30.

    i dont know about the update bringing a bug within this challenge, though some might think they are experiencing the bug. You have to hit the target with the last of the staff strikes. It does not mean kill it. I made a tutorial a while back about it.

    I would help you test the bug, but since I have already completed it, there is no way for me to help you other than stating how I completed it pre update, well, after DLJ update.

     Thanks for the offer of help.  Please post a link to your video, as once they fix the bug/glitch I'm sure folks will want to see it.  Since this is only one of 3 milestones I have left, I've been able to focus more time and energy on completing it  now.  Of course, had I known there would be a bug, I would have completed it prior to the  patch, lol.  Still sitting at 12/30
