This really feels like a sensible change. In theory, it was great that you had to carefully choose your cards - whether you want an ability buff, or you miss out on it to have a chance to heal up.
Why this didn't work in the end is that the game is way too "arcade-y" to involve such tactical decisions, even if they aren't particularly deep. Heroes are just too fragile not to have this ability, but it also severely hinders certain abilities to use the health card.
I'm curious about this one, happy to return to the game this month again.
