@ggibb65 you said you use the extra time to get coffee and go to toilet - this solves one of those challenges so you can spend more time gaming...

Hi all - I am really going to show how dumb I can be at times with the following questions.
What does the Matchmaking button (X) do at the EOR. Does it do anything different to the automatic MM. If not, why is it there?
In group play, if matchmaking breaks up your squad (friends?) and puts you on opposite sides, can you quit the game and re-join on the back of the same friends? I ask this as tonight I played a couple of very uneven rounds. I noticed the lobby on the next map had enough players to start the game, then a few started to drop out stopping the count down for a minute or so. When play actually started, the matches again were very uneven. The same players were in the top 5 in all matches and when I checked the lobby, were on the same team. Maybe just a coincidence or have they found a way to circumvent matchmaking. If they have, then what's the point of matchmaking if group play can override it?

@ggibb65 the point being I would have thought is to put groups playing together against other groups playing together. Unfortunately the system doesn't actually work and a lot of the time groups get split. It's the reason I am now a lone ranger like you, given up trying to play with friends it just takes you more time exiting and finding a new game to get your group back together. It is possible to exit and rejoin the same team(not necessarily the same squad), but still this can negate the MM completely(with groups being larger now especially) and lead to the same one sided game. I think they should get the group play working correctly, that way MM has a better chance of balancing games where groups are involved.
The question about the button is a good one as atm all I can guess is that it's there for you to initiate the MM a few seconds earlier, I suppose if you don't need a toilet run.
