Controller is crazy
I’m experiencing a serious controller issue when using a PlayStation 5 (DualSense) controller in Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) on GeForce Now.
The controller works perfectly in other games (like GTA V, FIFA, Cyberpunk), but in Battlefront II, the input stutters constantly. It behaves like it’s disconnecting and reconnecting every second — even though it works fine in the menu, once the match starts everything becomes glitchy and unresponsive.
I’ve tried:
- Wired and Bluetooth connections
- Using Steam version and EA version
- Playing from browser and GeForce Now desktop app
- DS4Windows with Xbox360 emulation
- Multiple PCs and networks
This only happens in this specific game on GeForce Now. The controller works great locally. It seems like GFN input mapping conflicts with Battlefront II’s Xbox layout when using a DualSense.
Please escalate this issue — it makes the game unplayable for anyone using a PS5 controller.
