DC-15 NERF in recent March 21st update

Hi EA, I just want to say I appreciate all you have done to listen to the fans. On that account I have something to bring up. Was it intentional in the recent update to severely nerf the Heavy class DC-15 rifle with exploding shot extention? I understand it was very overpowered but now it is very difficult to use even in close encounters. There seems to be increased lag/warm-up to begin shots, reduced damage, reduced rate of fire, faster heat up and less accuracy. Overall I the weapon is becoming useless to me for the above reasons since other classes can now kill in the amount of time it takes to begin firing rounds and deal enough damage. Is it possible buff some parts of the rifle as in increase damage and accuracy or increase rate of fire and accuracy? Thank you for your time.
