DirectX 12 option missing

Yea, I used dx12 in the past because it helped me see the laser blast and lightsaber while Dx11 couldn't do it. When I reformatted my PC and installed SW:BF2, the option wasn't there.

I did repairing the game via origin, relocate the game to a different drive, AMD drivers are up to date (18.1.1), and visual studio files are up to date as well, and enabling "GstRender.EnableDx12" via ProfileOptions_profile from 0 to 1 and all failed to bring the option back.

I wouldn't mind playing under DX11 but without any laser blasts or lightsaber in a Star Wars game doesn't feel like a Star Wars game.

Any help would be appreciated.

What is your operation system? Did you try to reinstall your graphics driver( try to install previous version) and reset your settings by deleting ProfileOptions_profile file ?

Sorry for the late response IRL had taken over me. Prest0n, your suggestion works! Dx12 option is back. Thank you all for the assistance.
