This is no gurantee. I have 46 epics and mostly blues. Standard digital and the duplicate credit bug just started happening to me Tuesday.
Its spreading and no account is safe.
Past couple of days have been nice, no duplicate in my daily crate so nothing to verify the ongoing bug with. Today was more frustration though, another duplicate in the daily, another day without getting credit for the duplicate. I think @Vision1138 is correct, the bug is spreading, so there must be a specific set of circumstances that trigger it? It doesn't seem to be a "day one" issue for most people. Everything is functioning correctly, then *something* changes. I'm sure it's hard for the devs to pinpoint exactly what that *something* is, especially if there could be multiple catalysts. But as @EA_David has pointed out, they have extensive logs. My guess is that there are multiple reasons why this is happening and they have to do extensive testing on each fix to make sure it doesn't have a trickle down effect and damage other aspects of game play. Either that or they don't care and will never fix it. I doubt that they don't care but it would be nice to get some communication on this issue so we know where they're at with it.

Still no change here, too.
Although I understand that this bug may go deep into the architecture of the game and thus is pretty difficult to fix, the communication is dismal. There is nothing wrong about bugs, problems, even not always met timelines every once in a while but the total lack of feedback and communication is not in the best interest of anyone involved in this. Obviously the problem is spread over different boxes, different versions of the game and there are still circumstances that this bug hits even new players.
So I assume it is just a matter of time that some bigger media outlets will look into this to report about it and I guess that will be the only critical mass at this time to get a reply of any sort (just pointed a few to this thread).
Sad to say, but apparently EA has not yet learned anything from the loot crate disaster in terms of communication and PR... :-(
- Anonymous8 years agoI too have the huge trooper lvls but had this issue for a longtime I can't help but wonder if we ourselves caused the problem by having them change the pay to play mechanic they obviously built the game around . and the lack of compassion or care for our issue feels like punishment for implementing this change . I hate to say it but perhaps going to Disney with complaints and even PlayStation \xbox market places could also be informed they are selling faulty products might get some attention but there will always be fall out when things get ugly
