The part that I find extremely frustrating about this issue, is that if we had received the duplicate credits as designed we could have bought more cards, or leveled up existing cards, which would have increased our unit class rankings under the new progression system. So if I have enough CP, I can level my cards now, which saves me time under the new system. If their suggestion that 60-90 minutes is approximately the time it will take to level up a class under the new system, on the low end every 40CP is approx. 1 hour. Current hero crates pay an average of 42.5 credits, and (if we were receiving duplicate credits) a return of approx. 900 credits (assuming three common duplicates). Every 50K in credits lost is approximately 1487 crafting parts:
50K credits/2,200 crate cost = 22 crates * 900 duplicate credit = 19,800 credits/2,200 crate cost = 9 crates * 900 = 8,100 credits/2,200 = 3 crates * 900 = 2,700 credits / 2,200 = 1 crate. [22+9+3+1 = 35 crates * 42.5CP/per crate = 1,487.5 CP]
1487 CP / 40CP(per skill point/hour) = 37 skill points or 37 hours of game time
For every 50K in unawarded duplicate credits, we are are being penalized 37 hours, on the low end, of time. One of our members has suggested 350K in lost credits (others even more). 350K in lost credits is 259 hours - that's almost 11 DAYS of penalty.
But hey, if I can buy an extra fuzzy hat for Lando, or paint my R2 unit red, it's totally worth it, right? [/sarcasm].
