EA account refuses to link to my Steam account

For some reason, i cannot link my EA account to my Steam account. Recently, i bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 and whenever i try to launch it, the EA BETA sign in pops opens asking to link my EA and S...

Hey @FiftyMrBiggie,

What happens if you try to link your Steam account via EA Help instead of directly through Steam? This article explains exactly how you can do that:

Hopefully it'll work better there. If you do still run into any errors or the like, let me know.

I tried it via EA help and got the same exact result, the error message still pops up instantly.
