Emotes not working - Heroes & Villians (Leia, Lando, Iden, Phasma, Chewy & Han)

Summarize your bug The d-pad right and in some cases d-pad left emote isn't working for certain heroes listed below.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 11/30/2017
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 12:00 pm
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unlock emotes for Chewy, Han, Phasma, Leia, Lando and Iden. Use the d-pad right to emote, it will not work even if the dead zone is changed in options.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing, it is the lack of emoting that is the bug.
What do you expect to see? I don't expect to "see" anything, I expect to "hear" an emote and that doesn't happen no matter how hard I mass the pad.

Here are all the other "emote" issue threads. Some of them have a "dead zone fix" which has worked for many. But many (including myself) still are plagued by the emotes not working. I believe there are close to forty of these threads, I copied as many as I could find as well as posting in those threads to come to this thread. I believe if we combine our efforts and make sure to give + XP to each other this post will get the attention it needs. I know that EA_Atasshi is already aware of it, but that only means that this is on the "To Do Bugs List" for EA. Thanks, everyone.

The bug for the emotes isn't specific emotes as much as it is a specific location on the d-pad, namely d-pad right. In two cases, Iden and Leia, both d-pad right and d-pad left aren't working. I am playing on the Xbox One and the issue has been around since the time of the Last Jedi update, but I cannot say it didn't exist before that since these emotes were unlocked from progression.

Chewbacca: D-pad Right (doesn't work)
Han Solo: D-pad Right (doesn't work)
Lando Calrissian: D-pad Right (doesn't work)
Leia Organa: D-pad Left and D-pad Right (neither work)

Captain Phasma: D-pad Right (doesn't work)
Iden Versio: D-pad Left and D-pad Right (neither work)

    Hey, guys, this is fixed if you are still having issues. Go into settings and move the deadzone stick control to 10-15% or fiddle with it until it works. Mine all work. Thanks, EA!

    I am a realist but I can say that I get disappointed easily when it comes to someones promise not being fulfilled. This AAA game with DLC Season Content that promised new Heroes, Weapons, and Vehicles in ALL post-launch seasons. I don't blame the DEV Team or Customer Service. It's now on "temper/eloquence talking heads", management, and the powers that be that allocate the workflow. The sad thing is this game could have recovered, it could have been great!

    I have seen games with horrible launches have success like Yong mentions for the For Honor franchise. I hate to live in a negative place, but I see that not happening for SWB2 as the For Honor content was pushed out like the Octomom popped out kids.

    OH Well, I guess if I want to play a Star Wars game with content I can break out my copy of Star Wars Kinect and dance my sorrow away. "’I'm feeling like a star, You can’t stop my shine. I’m lovin’ Cloud City, My head’s in the sky. I’m Solo, I’m Han Solo, I’m Han Solo. I’m Han Solo. Solo."

    We need to keep doing this, I looked at Han Solo DLC patch notes, and they STILL haven't fixed this! I haven't been able to emote with Iden Versio since before the Last Jedi DLC!!! This issue needs to be prioritized higher!

    @SargeanTravis  Agreed we need to keep posting about this as well as getting ALL of our friends who play this game to do the same. This is, of course, a classic case of the squeaky wheel gets the grease. The Dev Team won't get a "fix ticket" for this until there are enough voices asking for it to be fixed. I try to explain the importance of this to others who play the game with me. Many of them are willing to complain in the chat ad nausium, but won't take the 20 minutes needed to sign up for EA Answers and post on this subject. I will continue to ask them in hopes they will finally go here and make a post. If you have friends who do the same, make sure to ask them to come to the site and post their comments to this post.     I sometimes wish that the Xbox chat allowed for links, making easier for the gamers I game with to get to the website. Let's keep fighting the good fight peeps!

    @SargeanTravis   Oh they are aware of all the bugs, but because they are short staffed they have a list that is prioritized by management. They have to know about the issue since launch but it is a low priority and therefore will remain a low priority until we the users make enough noise by posting in here and other forums. I don't suggest we spam, just saying that we keep posting a "hey were all still waiting for the emote thing to be fixed guys." message to them weekly.

    Same here. PS4 Pro abd PS4 Slim. Emotes not working for either left or right for IDEN and LEIA. I found out after defeating the campaign mode and finally received an emote for Iden. FIX THIS DICE.

    I don't know his is true or not, because a friend who isn't on the forums told me, but the recent hot fix supposedly fixed this issue. Victory at last???
