I wouldn't be so quick to say its gone away (although, I certainly hope it has).  I'm pretty sure it's related to the number of players on-line.  This time of day, there aren't that many people playing.

Of course, this depends on which server you're accessing and what part of the world (and time zone) you're in.

@DarthFDG Hey, there have been some tweaks, and this weekend's latency issues seem to have dramatically lessened. We will of course be keeping an eye open for any reports of such issues returning.

just played Starfighter Assault and lag/stutter was as bad as before.  I crashed 4 times in one match, because it was so bad. 

Very disappointed, @EA_David

I suggest any more lag updates go in one of the lag bug reports.

@EA_David I cannot get past the map load screen even with the server tweaks.
