I've done both the WIndows Firewall (Origin & Battlefront) and Exclusions for the game through Avast and I still get the 770 error. This is annoying.
I just wanted to play some Starfighter Assault. :/
As a TCP/IP specialist, I sincerely doubt that! If you have a console, Xbox and PS4 work with Wifi, and I have personally tested both with a fibre connection and a lte network. On that note, I can show that EA developers added network protocols into their coding with Patch 1.2 As my gaming is conducted completely through wifi with a console, there are many ways a connection can be blocked by your PC. And over twenty of them I can show are the cause of the user, no offense.- Fortnite is by epic games.
EA servers are the problem with error 770. Nothing has changed within the last weeks.
I really dont like to be impolte but the whole support is *!
No solutions, no hints, no whatever.
- ERROR 770 (connection problem).
I deleted all saved data in application saved data management on PS4.(failed upload or currupt)
Also restored licences in account management.
I could then use 4g wireless to play SWBF2. Happening to me too. All the usual troubleshooting yeilds no results.
- Try to isolate the problem youself.
Error 770 = No connection
I tried different 4g router, still getting error 770 so then looked at ps4.
Is it no connection to all games or just one game.?
I cound not connect to swbf2, other games I could.
Deleting saved data and restoring licence worked.
While the cause may not be the same for everyone
You have router, console, console set up,
the game, game data, game licence, psn licence.
Find which part is not working and replace it.
Failing that reset everything and set up all again.
