Battlefront 2 crashing

I have had repeated issues with battlefront crashing. The game will launch and run fine in the menus but when i try to join a multiplayer match or play a single player mission, the game crashes as soon as it is done loading and i am about to join the match/mission. I have verified the game files on steam and made sure my drivers were up to date. i cant figure out why it is crashing. any help is appreciated.

PC specs. intel core i9 14900ks. 32gb ddr5. 4090. ssd
