Error Code 1066
I have not been able to play Battlefront 2 Multiplayer since September 2018. I cannot fix this issue no matter what I do.
Here are the solutions I've tried:
Deleting the settings folder and then running a repair
Completely uninstalling the game, then deleting all remaining files, then re-installing
Running a repair on the game without deleting any folders
Turning off my firewall
Disconnecting from the internet while trying to find a match, then reconnecting and trying again
Changing my ping site (multiple times)
Setting no specific ping site
Restarting (multiple times, and after every uninstall)
I am very sad that I can't play this game. I've been a huge fan, and I participated in the Alpha. I was able to play games just fine up until September, and since then, I've not been able to connect to any games, and all I get is error code 1066.
I cannot find a solution anywhere. Could someone please help me?
We also have a free "UO Trace" program you can download to run a trace route straight to our servers. If you feel it's a network issue I recommend running that test real quick so you can provide it to your ISP if they need to review it.
