Error code 201

Error 201

I just recently reinstalled this game onto my PC and I have yet to play five minutes of a single match. I have searched the internet for answers, ran UOTrace, did all the thing that were recommended by EA. It would be nice to get an answer because this quarantine has opened a lot of available time for this game and I'd like to play it for this final update.

Hello there, @Pirateperson2  Also are you using wifi or cabled connection and do you get all the time?

The issue it self is network interruption somewhere between user and server.

After playing battlefront 2 since release on ps4 I just decided to purchase it again but for PC only last night. I have not had one damn online game with it yet, Every error code in the book comes up, including error 201. Really frustrated and disappointed as this was the first game i purchased as I jump ship from the console to PC and was looking really forward to getting into it again.

I have tried both wifi and ethernet cable, there is no difference unfortunately in my case.

Please assist. FYI i went through all the troubleshooting steps etc already. My internet connection is fine as other other online games work with no issue, only this is giving me hell.

It has to be them bc my brother literally is playing it in the other room and ive tried portforwarding dns eveything i dont know what it is same wifi and everything

Whenever I attempt to load into any online multiplayer mode (regular multiplayer or co-op) I am brought to a loading screen for the planet but halfway through the loading the screen fades to the default Battlefront 2 loading screen and brings me back to the main menu with the error code 201. I play on PC. I run off of a wireless connection. I have checked all my firewall settings to make sure that the game has the access it needs. I have tried different in game servers and all have has the same result. I have restarted my game, computer, and router to no luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have repaired the game a couple times. I moved the files to my main hard drive and the issue seemed to be fixed for a bit, however the issue has returned and I have run out of ideas. I have checked other forum posts and seen EA's connection troubleshooting page but that has proven to be no help. I won't open ports or contact my ISP because I shouldn't need to jump through 5 hoops just to get a game functional and I feel that the issue would affect other games I play if it was an ISP problem. Does anyone have any other solutions or ideas for what I could do to fix this issue?

I am having a similar issue, whenever my brother and I try to play together on PC one of us will get disconnected with Error 201. now this is NOT an issue with our wifi/router. both of us can play in different games just fine but as soon as we try to group up and play together, one of us will crash. i very much enjoy this game even though there will be no more content drops i plan to play it for the foreseeable future. for the love of god can someone fix this. and again IT IS NOT A CONNECTION ISSUE.
