Whenever I attempt to load into any online multiplayer mode (regular multiplayer or co-op) I am brought to a loading screen for the planet but halfway through the loading the screen fades to the default Battlefront 2 loading screen and brings me back to the main menu with the error code 201. I play on PC. I run off of a wireless connection. I have checked all my firewall settings to make sure that the game has the access it needs. I have tried different in game servers and all have has the same result. I have restarted my game, computer, and router to no luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have repaired the game a couple times. I moved the files to my main hard drive and the issue seemed to be fixed for a bit, however the issue has returned and I have run out of ideas. I have checked other forum posts and seen EA's connection troubleshooting page but that has proven to be no help. I won't open ports or contact my ISP because I shouldn't need to jump through 5 hoops just to get a game functional and I feel that the issue would affect other games I play if it was an ISP problem. Does anyone have any other solutions or ideas for what I could do to fix this issue?
I am having a similar issue, whenever my brother and I try to play together on PC one of us will get disconnected with Error 201. now this is NOT an issue with our wifi/router. both of us can play in different games just fine but as soon as we try to group up and play together, one of us will crash. i very much enjoy this game even though there will be no more content drops i plan to play it for the foreseeable future. for the love of god can someone fix this. and again IT IS NOT A CONNECTION ISSUE.
