FIX THE DAMN GAME

Still crashing in the middle of the game after last patch. Why wasn't this a priority fix?????? So done with this BS, time and time again after each patch major issues are left unfixed. At least concentrate on fixing issues like these instead of doing pointless fixes like Luke's force push being able to make him jump higher for the love of God!!!!

@EA_Atic  Hi - Just letting you know that I am having the same problem as the other guys in this thread. The message I get is a "lost connection with server error code 209"  You can be playing in any mode ( for me usually Supremacy, Co-Op or GA) and the screen will freeze then drop back to BFII main screen. The crash happens at least once per night. Once the crash occurs, you are still showing server connection as OK but re-entering any game can be difficult. A system reboot or relaunch of the game doesn't make any difference. I am on Xbox One X and this problem definitely only started after The BB  & age of Rebellion update. 

Update 21/02/2020: This is still happening at least once per night. I gave the wrong error code 206 should be 209. The silly thing is that after the crash, I am still connected to EA server and generally the problem never happens again that same night.

Seems to only happen on Residtance maps.  Freezes and can't do anything.  Close out of software.  When I load back up, still have issues, ie no sound.  Have to hard restart xbox.  Then software works again.

@EA_Atic  If anyone has paid attention to mine & others prior posts, I have managed a couple of captures to show what happens. It is still happening at least once per session and I am tired of getting almost through a game then lose all credits/XP's.

In most cases pressing A will drop me to the BFII dashboard but still showing connection to EA server. Only once has it dropped me back to the Xbox dashboard.

Played Co_Op last night. Game crashed twice. Lost everything including having completed a DL-!8 upgrade. Had to do it all over again. It's annoying that these crashes tend to happen deep into any game, usually in the last phase. Stranger again, is that it tells me I have lost connection to the server but when I am back on the game dashboard, I am still connected. I am leaning towards an EA server issue noting they had an outage recently. 

@EA_Atic @EA_Ataashi  An update with frustration Playing Co-Op last night, the game froze and dropped me back to dashboard 3 times during the evening. The problem appears to be getting worse.  The loss of credits/XP's and weapon upgrades is becoming a major concern. The error code is always 209. There appears to be no acknowlegement of this issue by either of you. Is it just an Xbox issue or is it spread over all platforms? It only started after the BB8 upgrade. 

@EA_Atic  This problem is still happening once every night. Last night it happened after gameplay had finished and it was about to show the DEFEAT graphic. Same error code 209. I had been playing Supremacy for over an hour and then lost everything - credits, challenge completions. The thing I don't understand is when I am dropped back to the dashboard, I am still connected to EA. and can immediately start searching for a new game. I have a smart modem which keeps logs on errors that happen. Checking these logs has shown no errors with internet connections at the times of the game crash so it has to be a problem from your game server end or a glitch in the game itself. 

@ggibb65Try these steps I was given. It worked for me, and haven’t had a problem since. It may occur at least once or twice in a blue moon, but at least doing these steps I guarantee you’ll play with ease for a while. They were passed along by one of this post’s commenters who claimed a Dev gave it to him/her. 

Open Settings on the Xbox One.
In the Console section select Network.
Select Advanced settings.
Select Alternate MAC address.
Select CLEAR and press Enter.
You will have to restart the console for the change to take effect.

It appears that I have solved my problem. My frustration has been pointed at the game unfairly as having tried and tested everything to no avail. I did one thing that I had not thought of before - I disconnected my LAN cable from my Xbox and set up wireless connection. The reason I did this is my smart modem has 4G backup whereby if there is a glitch in internet connection it automatically connects to the 4G network to maintain internet access seamlessly. Guess What!!!! no problems with the game crashing for the last 3 nights. 

A word of advice, Keep an eye on the top right corner of your screen. If the connection bars show up with the message "slow internet may effect your gameplay" and then they turn red, you will get the game crashing.
