FPS drops after Felucia update (SWBF2)

Hey there!

Is it possible for you to update to the latest build of Window 10? You're a couple builds behind and we've seen users improve FPS after installing the latest updates.

Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates.

Here's some basic steps below if you haven't tried anything listed in there. Let us know what happens. 👍

Thanks for getting in touch. 

I've updated Windows and have tried everything on that list, including a clean reinstallation of my driver but still no change. ☹️ 

Do at your own Risk but it seems to be a windows 10 bug with dx 12 applications , and its currently affecting a lot of people

1- in your windows 10 search bar type exploit protection and click on it

2- find Control Flow Guard (CFG) in system settings turn off by default

3- find Randomize Memory (Allocations Bottom-up ASLR) in system settings turn off by default

4- reboot pc and enjoy stutter free dx12 gameplay

Note : you can also set to specific program settings if you dont want to go global. but it doenst seems to work as well for me if not set to system settings.

I tested on two different system and it worked like a charm. Let me know

Since the latest update, the game now runs really poorly. Before the update I could run the game in 4K on Ultra settings and get from 100FPS upwards with no stuttering or anything, but now I can barely get a solid 50FPS. I'm running an RTX 2080 Ti and i7-8700K 3.70GHz with 16GB RAM so there's no hardware issue, it's definitely a game issue. I thought this would have been fixed with the latest patch update but it seems this issue hasn't even been addressed yet. But this is a pretty important issue as the game feels terrible to the point where I have no desire to play it until this is fixed, which is a shame as I was really excited for all the new content. Thank you for the hard work, but please fix this soon.

Do you have any new devices plugged into your USB slots on the PC or Nahimic Audio on your PC?

Just the usual: Mouse, Keyboard (has two USB cables), speakers, headphones and Xbox 1 controller for other games. All of these were plugged in prior to the update when everything was working fine.

Do you use Killer Control Center?

Nope, I don't have anything open/use additional programs other than Origin (tried it with this closed) and BF2 itself when playing.

Do you overclock? We've seen players mention their other games were fine but once clocking was set back to auto/default it improved.
