FPS Drops Lag/Stutter

Ever since the last patch i've been getting terrible FPS drops and a lot of lag/stutter at the start of each game. I can barely move for the first minute of a match. I never had these issues during the beta. Before the patch I was getting 85-100 FPS. After the patch i'm getting 55-70 FPS on Ultra. Running an i7 6700K @ 4.5, 980 ti ftw, 16 GB DDR4 3200 and i'm playing on a Samsung 850 EVO SSD. Running at 3440 x 1440 @ 100 HZ with G-Sync. Using 388.31 drivers - I've tried all 3 of the newest Nvidia drivers and performance is the same across the board. Please fix this. It makes the game unplayable - the only thing that saved your game for me was the great performance. With that gone I have no desire to play this game at all.

    Hello there,
    So yesterday I bought Star Wars Battlefront II for my pc.

    When I tried to join an online match it just started lagging, it still said I had like 80 fps though. After 1-3 minutes in the game it started to run much smoother. It may be hard for my pc to load in the map or something, but I dont know. This problem accures in all maps. I tried to lower some settings but it didn't work.
    Here are my specs:

    RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR4
    CPU: Intel i5 7400
    GPU: Radeon RX480 X Gaming 4G

    Is there anyone that knows a fix, to not lag in the beginning of a match? Or is there anyone with the same problem?

    It's something that happened when the game updated for TLJ, if you open up your task manager you'll probably see your cpu and gpu hit 100 percent load in menus or the beginning of a match. I don't know what it is and I don't know why but EA hasn't given us anything to work with or noticed there is a problem.

    Some people say rolling back their drivers off of 17.12.1 for AMD cards works but I can't get it to work.

    Battlefront 2 lags at the beginning of each multiplayer game... However after a few minutes in the game everything works great and there is no more rubberbanding or freezing. But then next game starts off with the freezing and the process repeats. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? I don't think it is network related because i don't get any messages telling me that my connection is slow

    please help with this it's so annoying when you get killed whilst everyone else runs off getting points
