Heres my dxdiag report.
@MurfOriginal @mralsop01 Thanks for sending the reports and all the additional information! 🙂
Could you both use System File Checker and System Update Readiness tools to repair any corrupted system files?

@EA_Ataashi So I still cant get the system file checker to work but I think my method does a similar sort of thing. The check has apparently fixed some errors but I still cant get battlefront to launch properly.
Now, for some reason the game crashes and it changes my resolution to something like 700x600.
Maybe its a faulty game key? Is there any way you could remove the current game from my account and add a new one for example?

I had already ran the "sfc /scannow" and other steps that go with it before you asked. Their was nothing to repair.
My game may be running fine now, but I cannot do an accurate test. When I experience the "red screen lockup" before it happened right when game was about to launch into an online match after the "load" screen. Since I restored Windows from a bare image and installed SWBF2, I can no longer join an online match - error 1066. I guess that is what they are calling the "ping" issue. So until they get that fixed in the next update, I cannot do a valid test on my machine. The reason I said may is because I tried a game in "arcade mode" and was able to play just fine. However, that is not a valid test because I never tried arcade mode before when I was experiencing the locking up - I normally only play online.
When I can play online successfully I will pass along the last things I tried that may have fixed my issue.
Thanks

If must have been the video driver, but I had a heck of a time getting everything set right so I didn't crash to a red screen whenever I entered a match.
My video card is a Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX 580 4GB.
Here is what I did to fix my issue:
- Did an uninstall of the video driver.
- Ran the amdcleanuputility.exe from the AMD site. https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx
- Instead of downloading the graphic driver from AMD, I downloaded the most recent driver for my card from the Sapphire site.
Now I can play SWBF2 without it crashing.
Hope this helps someone else.
