The game started to CTD randomly plus freezing every now and then, or freezing when loading. I tried an old fix of fps to put it in the boot file profile file and another one on user.cfg inside the game root folder, with the result of no change at all. Campaign is impossible to play properly because it stutters every 15-30 seconds then you finish the mission and you get a CTD on the video end of the mission. All of this wasn't happening before this patch so it's not my pc doing it.

I had all that going on for about 90 days prior to the 1.1 patch.... Surprisingly it's been mostly void of those issues for me since the patch. I've CTD once and locked up once... But it's only been about 6 hrs worth of play time.When I was crashing 5-7 times per 2-3 hrs play time, the only thing I found that would work was completely uninstalling the game (deleting the folders in the users\documents folder), restarting pc, then installing again, repair game through origin right after install was complete and then play. One time I did this I got 2 weeks of play without problems... However another time I only got 2 days out of it.

Ok thanks I may give that a try but it's such a big game that it would suck for people with limited internet to have to do that; it's not really a very workable solution..EA pls fix.

I want to say about the stability of the game. It simply does not exist. The patch did not fix anything. During the game, the image at some point freezes and it has to be turned off through the task manager. I really love Star Wars. I do not much care about the loot boxes. It seems to me that the game turned out to be quite good, but understand this is not possible due to freezing. And that's what makes me hate the game. I tried all methods of solving the problem from the Internet - it did not help. I also know that this problem is not just for me. My computer is suitable for minimum performance. Sometimes the game freezes in less than a minute into the round. Please, as soon as possible, adjust the stability of the game (especially for weaker systems), because without it it is impossible to play in principle.

I'm having the same problem and no fix for it i'm tired of the stuttering freezing and crashing cause i simply can't have a normal game experience and it's simply annoying, cause we are paying for something that is not working properly.

Ever since i've bought the game im experiencing freezing and stuttering, to the point i regret buying it. Other games like Black Desert Online have no problem, yet alone reach 2000 frame time...
I've already tried a couple of things such as closing in game overlay, enabling Vsync and experimenting with the settings but it's the same on Ultra and Lowest settings... 60 constant FPS with 2000 frame time.

I don't get the stuttering so much (although a little more since 1.1) however my game crashes ALL THE TIME. I can rarely go a single session without it crashing. Sometimes after 10 minutes and one game, sometimes at the start of my first game, sometimes after many, and sometimes just at the menu! It also causes my PC to BSOD pretty regularly (4 times in the last 2 days.) Are your problems like this?

Do you have DX12 on or off in video settings?
It should be off to reduce lag

gtx 970 g1, 16GB RAm, i7-7700K.
i playing on high settings.
Sometimes i have small lags, freezes.
Sometimes i have FPS drops from 100 -> 5.
Sometimes is ok and everything works fine
And DX 12 is OFF with Vsync.

Well.... Agreed. We shouldn't have to be doing anything to make it work... They should fix it and actively keep it fixed. I have a very good connection, but the game still only downloads at like 2-3 mbps. So when I've done it, I just do it overnight and into the next morning when I wouldn't be playing anyway. It can take upwards of 13 hrs for me. No doubt a PITA.... But I was willing to mess with it to get some relief from the problems, as ridiculous as that thought is.

There is no actual proven fix, only tons of suggestions of what people have tried that either work or don't... And it's not consistent for everyone. EA/DICE just released a patch with a generic portion saying they've fixed some client & server side issues, but nothing was specifically cited. The only thing you can do besides wait for them to fix their game is start trying all the stuff mentioned in all the posts made before yours.... And there are many. There is also a post stuck to the top of this forum for troubleshooting problems. Good luck.
