Check if DX12 mode is active. You can do this inside the game going into options. DX12 is Direct X 12. This game doesn't work properly in DX12: sometimes it behaves weirdly, other times it crashes frequently. And in most cases the game doesn't launch at all.

If you can't access the game to check if DX12 is enabled you can do this outside the game following these steps:

    Spoiler
Go to your Documents folder and there you'll find a folder for Star Wars Battlefront II. Inside of it there is a settings folder, and inside of that there's a file called BootOptions. The full path shall look like this: C:\Users\'YourUserName'\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings

This BootOption file can be opened using Notepad. Inside of it you have to change the number in the line containing 'GstRender.EnableDx12' from 1 to 0:

If that line already has a 0 instead of a 1 then you're already with DX12 turned off.

If that doesn't fix your issue please let us know so we can try something else.
