Game not running right , i3-6100 / r9 390 8gb card /16g ram

I have a sapphire r9 390 8g ddr5 card, i3-6100 @3.70ghz, 16gb ram. The fps counter will read around 70-110 fps , but the game never truley seems to run at more than 40fps or so. This also seems to lag really bad to the point that when alive in a multiplayer match , my buddy on discord cant even hear me my voice gets so chopped up with lag. game also frame drops quite often and sometimes will control itself and lock up from lag. I have decent internet speed, 60mps hardwired not wireless, and nobody else it on it. It did this exact same problem with the first battlefront too. What can i do to fix this? This computer runs R6S at 60fps plus on ultra, runs the division on high at 60fps plus, battlefield 4 and 1 on ultra 60fps, so idk why its doing this. Im told it might be my cpu, since its only 2 cores , but i would think i would have problems with other games in that case?

  • Hey @JJK5904 the requirements for Battlefront are really high especially for CPU the game does use the core and it's powers.

Here are the requirements for the CPU.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Processor (AMD): AMD FX 6350
Processor (Intel): Intel Core i5 6600K

I do recommend that you look for another CPU because yours are not that close to the minimum standard that we have set on the game.

If really wants to test it out, is to start task manger go to performance tab and then play Battlefront 2 and take a look on how the Pc is handling the game.
