I found the link to the article in Reddit what I was looking for. It's about Battlefield 2042 but a person asks about the 1hp fix. I remember it was fixed shortly after this response from that guy from Dice.

Triplenatorthat story is about Battlefield 2024 not Star Wars battlefront. They had a lot of troubles with battlefield 2024 they had to pull people from other projects to get battefield 2024 to work right.
Yeah, but that was the thread were Kevin Johnson was asked if he was aware about the situation in Battlefront. Where he said they would look into the problems, and 3 months later it was fixed.
Triplenatorwell they know about the 1hp hack for 8 months telling the players it was just a bug. the magazine posted that story and EA could hide behind it being a bug but a cheat, so EA had to do something about it. when they admitted it wasnt a bug it was going into the holiday season so thats why it took 3 moths for them to fix it.
And now they are working on a New Battlefield!!!!, instead of at least putting Battlefront 2 back on track, we don't need Battlefront 3, we need them to get rid of hackers, some new content, and a ranking system to keep people playing with a reason or valuable reward...
It is so sad that EA doesn't care about this game anymore, as it is for me, the best Star Wars Game to this day.
