I think the biggest problem with the hero ships is you achieve way less point rewards for completing tasks and getting kills. I think you get 10 points on your screen for a kill, where you get 100 if you're in a regular ship. They need to increase the amount of points you gain while playing a hero ship.
In the new progression system there are two things hard to level up: the hero ships and the armor. Depends of luck (if there is any available when you have the points) and a rather unsavory grind.
@ivrognard In my opinion, the armor is not so hard. AT-ST/AAT is popular but AT-RT is not. I could use that when I would like to. And it is good and reasonable.
