Hero Showdown Rules - Tiebreaker draw/win/loss

Hi,

I'd like to know the set rules for Hero Showdown built into the game.

How is draw/win/loss decided if entire opposing teams or individuals survive beyond the timer limit.

e.g.

What happens in a 2 v 1 survival scenario ? & why ?

What happens is a 1 v 1 survival scenario ? & why ?

How does the game decide draw/win/loss ?

@Survivor993Ok... I guess that this isn't supposed to happen.

Though if I remember correctly, I had also ties in a 2 vs 1 scenario.

I never heard that dmg/remaining hp matter as this is also nowhere officially confirmed.

Others have reported bugs like that when a round starts, one team suddenly gets 3 points for reasons and therefore wins the match.

Did someone leave or join during the fight? Maybe it bugs out then, but I don't know for sure.

  • @Survivor993In a 2 vs 1 survival scenario, the team with more heroes alive wins, same for the starfighter showdown mode.

    If it's an equal number like 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2, it's a draw.

So if the timer is about to run out and the enemy team is superior in number of heroes alive, you really should push and try to kill enough to at least get a draw.

If you fail and get killed it doesn't matter because you would've lost that round anyways.

  • Thank you, that's a helpful reply.

I've been in scenarios where it's 1 v 1 but one side ended up winning the round despite both players surviving the timer.

I assumed this was something to do with damage or health ? Would be grateful to understand the mechanic at play here and how the game makes a tiebreaker decision to award one side the round.

  • I see, very useful! No one left the last match when this happened. It's occurred on a few occasions and I wondered if there was a rule behind it.

As you mention, it would make sense that this is a bug/glitch since it happens quite randomly from my experience.

I'll be mindful of when it happens next time to identify any patterns.
