how can you not have voice settings while forcing people's mics to broadcast?
how do you think its acceptable to make people's microphone's available by default with no option to change it? why should I have to alter all my other clients and microphone settings AROUND origin while having NO WAY to disable origin from picking up my microphone, within the client?
this is one of the most basic things that is available in any game, in fact, practically EVERY GAME released by AAA game companies and indie game companies alike that use voice settings. so, i'm playing battlefront 2 with friends, and I have to, every time we group up, mute them in origin because there ARE NO VOICE SETTINGS IN BATTLEFRONT 2, OR ORIGIN! and thats providing origin isn't glitching out and even lets me mute them.
but FURTHERMORE, it is completely unacceptable that I cannot disable my microphone on my computer from picking up my voice and broadcasting it to people without my consent. unacceptable. there is no other word for it. you are a AAA video game company. you have millions of dollars at your disposal. if you can't make origin work with microphone settings, why are your game developers not putting microphone settings in your games? get rid of origin voice chat if you can't make it work, and let your game devs do their jobs and implement very simple and easy to implement voice chat and group options within the game. come ON.
or even better, just let people disable origin from picking up their microphones.
do better, this is not okay, and apparently its been like this for 9 months. get some guy to take the 5 minutes it would take to add in a disable microphone button. for the love of god.
