I can't asign movement or combat actions with the buttons on my gamimg mouse

I want to asign the buttons on my M65 Corsair gaming mouse to combat roll in battlefront 2, but when I go to key layout and then combst roll i clear the default Alt button for the combat roll and try to add the button on my mouse, but it doesn't work it work 100% in the previous battlefront where i could just use the buttons on my mouse to combat roll. What is the point of a gaming mouse of I can't use all of it's features in a game

I'm having the same issue but with the Razer Naga. Frustrating.
  • I cant check this ingame right now, but if i remember right, you have to bind mouse actions in the second column in the keybind settings. First column is for keyboard bindings, second for mouse bindings and third for gamepad... might mix this up with another game...

Another problem that I ran into, battlefront 2 seems to not register any mousebutton events with an ID higher than 5. I configured some buttons on my mouse with "mousebutton 4", "mousebutton 5" and "mousebutton 6". The first two are recognized in BF2 (although as button 3 and 4 if I remember right), the last one (button 6) is not recognized. Perhaps this is your problem. To solve this, bind the key to something else.

You're right on the second column. I tried that with no luck. Your second point makes sense as might be the problem, although I'm not sure why. It's or ked in other games and why design a game not friendly for gaming instruments like the mouse? Thanks for the input.
