Many say they will not. Seems a bit odd since kyber is using their name and publishing email.

What bothers me is that EA ignores the community in the forums and asks for help. But the moment it hits the media, they **bleep** the bed and work to fix it. It, unfortunately, just goes to show how little regard they have for their customers and long-time fans.

Anyone else find that the EA forums are dreadful to navigate?

It was fixed for one day.... solid lobby's and gameplay. Next day after the hype died it was the same old hacking, crashing, flyover hacking, one shot killing etc.

They patched the server-side no spawn hack on Friday
Several hours after the patch, there was a flood of hackers using older scripts such as the "cinematic" and some Ddos-like attacks. Quite a few cheaters too, no doubt because of the news that there would be anti-cheat changes put in place. Personally got the feeling it was organized.
Motivation is manifold of course. Frequently it's the feeling of power over people. That is the most common motivation. You have to bear in mind that we do live in an age where many countries do have a mental health crisis. Socially and economically there is a lot of upheaval and chaos globally and you will always find people who need to take it out on others. They then seek to artificially gain a feeling of power in powerlessness. - fortmacjack4 months agoSeasoned Traveler
That's very astute and empathetic of you. I agree with what you are saying, however the unfortunate aspect is the mind that seeks to inflict misery on what one would call an innocent bystander are one's that carry a heavy narcissistic trait, although that being said, there's an argument to both sides. If the the digital world allows them to express these negative feelings / traits without affecting or hurting an individual in real life then it could be a means of therapy by allowing them to vent, however the opposing argument could be that allowing an environment that enables these feelings / traits could result in exacerbating the problem in real life. Personally, I'm on the fence and have no idea whether allowing this behavior provides a coping environment or simply worsens their behavior. Presumable it could have both effects depending on the person.
Bottom line is you are correct in your assessment, and i for one would really enjoy an online environment where i could play without having to deal with cheaters. But for now I am simply going to enjoy playing becasue at least I can play now lol...

Providing there are fewer "cinematic" hacks or other ones where the game ends

100%...I was thinking that myself.
But, it is EA, and they certainly don't want the experience to be user friendly lol.
