ISB Agent
Summary: This is literally a stereotype of the Infiltrator class that is cosplaying Magneto.
They are pretty good, but they can’t really do anything really well. Sniping with power blast doesn’t work well. Their gun has bad DPS for dual wielding. Their melee looks cool and is fast, but doesn’t really grant anything other than that you’re less likely to be shot. They have the ability to support heroes incredibly well, but that the only talent they have.Abilities:
Pistols: The agent utilizes two RK pistols. They aren’t very good guns, but the Imperial Security Bureau employee makes them better. The guns have a power shot that is activated by zooming, but it is weaker than the ARC trooper, and doesn’t home in. They have a slow rate of fire, and low damage.
Melee: This is probably the fanciest melee in the game. The agent kicks the the enemy with a complex and fast series of knee jabs. It has one special perk in that you get HP back for killing guys with it, but it has a lot of endlag that makes you vulnerable at the end.
Assault Training: The agent gains a speed boost and damage reduction. It helps keeping up with those people who run ahead with Vanguard, as well as reaching the objective quickly. Other than that, it doesn’t help a lot.
Scan: This is a copy-paste of the Sith Trooper’s ability. Enemies are scanned, revealing them in red. The number of enemies scanned is increased by killing enemies. It’s not very special.
Battle Command: This is the single best healing ability in the game. It regenerates all of the health of the allies nearby very quickly, including heroes. There is nothing better than seeing an ISB agent as a low health hero. I had some downsides, though. It needs a nearby ally to activate, so when you are alone, it can’t help.
Also, as a regeneration ability and not a bonus health ability, squishy infantry troops aren’t really helped by it. However, it is really good.Final Verdict: The ISB agent struggles with mediocrity, but with one insanely good ability when working with a hero, they are very good. They fill a niche with their melee, it’s not that different than any other infiltrator. However, the one problem I have is that, despite being so average, they outclass the Ewok so much that it doesn’t really matter how bad they are.
Okay, final deduction. They are a lower tier unit that has one very good ability, and they are best used in the final round of a mode with heroes. So they aren’t the best by a long shot, but are better than the worst(I’m looking at you, Ewok). The weirdest thing about them, thought, is that I can’t stop thinking they are cosplaying Magneto.
