Invalid license. Reason code = missing DLL: Error 0xC1

I completed downloading battlefront 2. Whenever attempting to launch I get an error message reading : Invalid license. Reason code = missing DLL: [a bunch of letters a numbers here] Error 0xC1 sugg...

Invalid Licesnse Missing DLL : [api-ms-win-crt-environment-[1-1-0.dll] Error 0xC1

That is the complete message i am getting with all the letters.

Please advise

I should also mention I have installed all windows updates

    I also dont want to install windows 10. I am on windows 8.1 with all updates

      @Dreadnought069 Please try the following steps as I have seen this work for a number of people.

      1- Update Windows
      2- Control Panel/Uninstall Program - uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x64 and x86
      3- Reboot your PC
      4- Download and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x64 and x86 (2 seperate installs)
      5- Reboot your PC

        Can I please get links to the Microsoft websites to download Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x64 and x86 for free?

        I can't find them on the microsoft website? I also don't know what is a good website to use to download these and I'm having a tough time locating them both...
